Due to global warming and deforestation for multiple industrial and commercial uses, more and more animal species are losing their homes. The top 8 most endangered species in the wild include: the philippine eagle, the mountain gorilla, the cross river gorilla, araripe manakin, mediterranean monk seal, greater bamboo lemur, amur leopard, and the beluga sturgeon. These animalsn top the 2011 most endangered list.
